Cutest Bookshop in Perth, Western Australia

Today I took a little visit to the suburb of Claremont so I could visit The Lane Bookshop.

The Lane Bookshop is located down Old Theatre Lane near Claremont Quarters. The lane is filled with cafes and little boutique stores. All the shops in the lane have a slight old London front. The Lane Bookshop itself is quaint and smells of nostalgia and books. The shop opened in 1980 and sells an eclectic range.

I managed to find a book I haven’t seen in any other shop yet - The Strangers by Albert Camus. Prices are good for an independent bookshop and staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend a visit if you get the chance. You can buy a tea and book and sit in the lane enjoying the vibe and quietness that is found down the lane that makes you feel like you’ve stepped away from the chaos for a moment.
